The Ganesh Temple Rathostavam was organised on a grand scale here on Thursday to mark Vinayaka Chaviti and Navaratri Brahmotsavam celebrations.
Rudraram: The Ganesh Temple Rathostavam was organised on a grand scale here on Thursday to mark Vinayaka Chaviti and Navaratri Brahmotsavam celebrations. Special 'Abhishekams' were offered to the elephant-headed god by the temple committee members.
Devotees made a beeline to the temple which was packed to the capacity. A festive atmosphere prevailed on the premises and the surrounding areas marked by songs and dances by the devotees from nearby and far places.
Zaheerabad MP BB Patil performed special puja in the shrine in the presence of former MLA Satyanarayana and several prominent persons. He was felicitated by sarpanch Sudhir Reddy along with former temple committee chairman Ramesh, free 'annadanam' programme was organised for the benefit of the devotees.
