Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State unit president K Laxman criticised the State government for depriving milk to the children attending Anganwadi centres located across Telangana.

Listing out failures of the State government and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, he said, "the economic crisis faced by the State government has entered into such a phase that the Anganwadi centres established for childcare and protection are not provided funds.

In turn, the centres are not in a position to procure and provide milk to the children attending the centres." That apart, the centres are also not supplied with fortified foods like Balamrutham, he added.

Terming mismanagement, bad governance and corruption for the current economic crisis in the State, Laxman alleged that the State government instead of trying to make efforts to address the problem was conspiring to shut down as many Anganwadi's as possible in Telangana.

The TRS government was the only government in the known history that has deprived even milk for children, he said. The BJP leader said that the one-man show by the Chief Minister is taking a toll on the governance as well as the financial situation of Telangana. The Chief Minister holds review meetings for hours on the economic situation without inviting the Minister concerned.

"Decisions were taken, and orders are being issued at the direction of K Chandrashekar Rao," he said.A case to point out that Minister's, MPs and MLAs in the current dispensation remained as ceremonial statues with the Chief Minister taking all the decisions without the knowledge of the Ministers concerned.

Finance Minister expressing that his heartbeat raced up while hearing the assurances' and promises given by the Chief Minister to the RTC workers proved the singleman show governance in the State, he said.
