The state government has no clarity on farm loan waive plan, said MLA Jeevan Reddy speaking at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday.
"During the elections, the government has promised to waive off farm loan of 1 lakh farmers but nothing has done so far. Around 6,000 farmers committing suicide due to unclear debts after the formation of the state," he said.
He also vented out anger on the government for making the farmers under 59 years are eligible for Rythu Bhima and no orders were issued granting Rs 6 lakh compensation to the farmers who committed suicide.
"Even as the Rythu Bandhu scheme is being turned unwanted for those who have above 3 acres of land," the MLA said adding that the government should not stop the subsidies provided to the farmers.
He said that the party has discussed the farmer woes and will also raise those during the budget session.
