HCR Associate Prof Kennedy receives Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award
Dr. P. Kennedy, Associate professor of Hyderabad Central University received Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Professional Excellence Award- 2019 in Mass Media and Communication.
Hyderabad : Dr. P. Kennedy, Associate professor of Hyderabad Central University received Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Professional Excellence Award- 2019 in Mass Media and Communication.
He has worked for about 20 years in the field of television, directed several popular series of educational programmes, reality shows and game shows for different satellite TV channels. He also worked for Eenadu Television as News producer. Earlier, Kennedy worked as producer for Educational Multimedia center of Osmania University and produced educational programmes, e-learning programmes for UGC-CEC.
These enriched and curriculum based programmes are meant for undergraduate students in India and the programmes telecast-ed on DD-National and 24 hours educational channel (Vyas Channel). Majority of the programmes are research based and cover a variety of subjects. Some of these are "Ladies in Labs", the focus of the series was on women scientists who made outstanding contributions to scientific research.
