Hyderabad: After MRO murder, Abdullapurmet gets new Tahsildar

After the brutal murder of the Abdullapurmet Tahsildar Vijaya Reddy, the government appointed K Venkat Reddy as the new Tahsildar. He assumed charge of the office on Friday.
After the brutal murder of the Abdullapurmet Tahsildar Vijaya Reddy, the government appointed K Venkat Reddy as the new Tahsildar. He assumed charge of the office on Friday.
Venkat Reddy took over the charge from Deputy Tahsildar Krishna. Later, he inspected another building in Abdullapurmet to operate services.
The slain MRO Vijaya Reddy was set on fire by one Suresh who barged into the office and poured petrol on the officer and set her afire. Land dispute is said to be the reason for the brutal murder.
The accused Suresh who was also injured in the incident succumbed to the burn injuries two days after Tahsildar's death.
