Hyderabad: Bahujan Students Federation rally on April 12

Hyderabad: The Bahujan Students Federation (BSF) has decided to organize Chalo Osmania University along with the like-minded organizations on April 12.

Speaking at the 86th birth anniversary celebrations of the founder of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Kanshiram, BSF State president Velpula Sanjay said that Kanshi Ram had stressed on the empowerment of Dalits. He recalled the famous call of the BSP founder that if Dalits sold their vote they would end up in slavery and if they voted rightly, they would come to power. Taking this spirit forward and to create awareness among Dalits, the BSF has decided to take out a rally and organize a public meeting.

Sajida Sikander Begum, who attended as the chief guest at the birthday celebrations, and Anjali, the grand-daughter of revolutionary leader Chakali Ilamma, MSF national president Rudravaram Lingaswamy and Telangana BC Sangham State president Anji Yadav and others stressed that the road map suggested by Kanshiram alone would bring Dalits to political power.
