Hyderabad: Congress leaders taken into custody for holding rally to Raj Bhavan
Congress leader Anjan Kumar Yadav and other senior leaders were taken into custody after they called for a rally from Gandhi Bhavan to Raj Bhavan protesting against the centre and state government's move towards the economy, employment and rise in prices of essential commodities.

The leaders have also called for a lay siege to all district collectorates in the state and took out a rally to Raj Bhavan to submit a report to the governor Tamilisai Sounderarajan. However, the police beefed up security at Gandhi Bhavan and prevented the Congress leaders from taking out the rally.
Meanwhile, the police arrested the Congress leaders after a clash at Gandhi Bhavan. MLC Jeevan Reddy also staged a protest in front of the RDO office in Jagtial.
