Hyderabad: Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao is standing out from the rest with his unique style of campaigning for GHMC elections. Ever since Rao has been appointed as the in-charge for Meerpet HB Colony (Division 4) that falls in the Uppal Assembly constituency, he has toured every residential colony in the division as part of the poll campaign.
Not only he announced adopting the ward to resolve its issues and undertake development works over the next five-year period, the Minister was seen been holding door-to-door visits. While campaigning, he is leading from the front along with TRS candidate J Prabhu Das, who is relatively new to elections.
The Minister, who has a great election track record of registering six consecutive wins in the Assembly elections and one win in parliament election during his distinguished political career, has been greeting voters, enquiring about their issues and assuring them of solving.
When told about people's surprise reactions to his campaign, Dayakar Rao stated that he has been used to this style of campaigning in his constituency in Warangal district and has been following the same for the GHMC elections with more focus on connecting to each voter in the division.
