Hyderabad: The former superintendent of Osmania General Hospital and veteran city-based Physician Dr VN Waghray passed away early morning at 5.30 on Tuesday at Udai Omni Hospital, ABIDS.
In his illustrious career, he served in various responsible positions including as Professor Emeritus of Medicine, Osmania Medical College, consultant at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), former dean at faculty of medicine at Osmania University, former professor and head of the department of medicine, Osmania Medical College and trusted physician for people.
Dr Waghray as a teacher was very popular among his students and widely respected in the medical fraternity, he was a role model and students looked up to him for guidance and advice at every stage of career. He was a great human being, kind and affectionate.
An outstanding, compassionate and impressive physician with great clinical skills and judgment, who won the hearts of his patients as well as fellow physicians and doctors working under him.
