In view of Ayodhya verdict this month a delegation of Hindu leaders led by Vishwa Hindu Parishad State president M Rama Raju met Telangana State DGP Mahender Reddy and submitted a memorandum with a request to take proper security arrangements in sensitive areas.

Hyderabad: In view of Ayodhya verdict this month a delegation of Hindu leaders led by Vishwa Hindu Parishad State president M Rama Raju met Telangana State DGP Mahender Reddy and submitted a memorandum with a request to take proper security arrangements in sensitive areas.

The delegation said that some elements were trying to create disturbances by giving provocative speeches. They wanted security to be tightened in areas like Bhainsa, Nirmal, Old City areas, Musheerabad, Bholakpur and others to safeguard Hindu community in these areas.

The delegation had leaders like Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi General Secretary Bhagavanth Rao, VHP spokesperson Ravinuthala Shashidhar, Hindu Vahini State General Secretary Uppal Raju and other.

The DGP responded positively and assured proper security arrangements and precautionary measures would be taken.
