Hyderabad: More TRS leaders donate Covid ambulances
- The party leaders from Warangal including MLAs, ZP Chairpersons hand over cheques to Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao at his camp office
- These ambulances would be used in rural areas and they are equipped with corona testing facility
Hyderabad: Few more TRS leaders have come forward to donate ambulances on the call given by party's working president KT Rama Rao. TRS leaders including MLAs, ZP Chairpersons met party working president KT Rama Rao at his camp office on Wednesday to handover the cheques pertaining to the ambulances under the 'Gift a Smile' campaign.
KTR had given a call to the party leaders to donate corona ambulances under Gift a Smile campaign during the pandemic. The TRS public representatives collectively made arrangements for 100 ambulances.
The party leaders from Warangal including MLAs, ZP Chairpersons handed over cheque to the Municipal Minister in the presence of Ministers from the district E Dayakar Rao and Satyavathi Rathod. Bhoopalapally MLA G Venkataramana Reddy, his wife and Warangal Rural ZP Chairperson Gandra Jyothi gave cheque for one vehicle. Similarly, Parakal MLA Ch Dharma Reddy also handed over a cheque for one vehicle. Other leaders who donated for one ambulance include O Ravichandra and K Lakhman Rao. Speaking on the occasion, Rama Rao thanked the leaders who have come forward to donate for ambulance. He said that the leaders who were striving for the development and welfare of the people in their constituencies and also taking care of them during Corona pandemic shows their generosity and commitment towards the service of the people.
Minister E Dayakar Rao and Wardhannapet MLA A Ramesh and others from erstwhile Warangal district also handed over cheques for the ambulances. Minister Rama Rao too had handed over six ambulances. These ambulances would be used in rural areas and it has corona testing facility.
