Hyderabad: Uniform charges for treatment in all private hospitals
The Telangana Health Department would finalize treatment charges for admission of Coronavirus suspect cases in corporate hospitals in the State.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Health Department would finalize treatment charges for admission of Coronavirus suspect cases in corporate hospitals in the State.
These charges would be uniform and would be the same in all the hospitals for which they also gave consent, Health Minister Eatala Rajender said.
Elaborating details, he said that people returning or visiting here from other countries or others, who wish to join the private hospitals could do so and for their convenience uniform treatment charges would be finalized in one to two days.
The Minister held a meeting with the representatives of Super-Specialty and Private Hospitals Associations to discuss this issue on Thursday.
He told them to take travel history of such patients compulsorily, do formalities in a separate OP block different from others and send samples immediately to Gandhi Hospital if any of them were found to have Covid-19 symptoms.
