Congress MLA T Jagga Reddy stated that he sent his biodata to AICC president Sonia Gandhi for considering his name for the post of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president post.
Hyderabad: Congress MLA T Jagga Reddy stated that he sent his biodata to AICC president Sonia Gandhi for considering his name for the post of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president post.
In an informal chat with the media, he said that in case the AICC was considering appointing a new TPCC president then he wants the party to consider his name for the post.
He said that he would work as TPCC chief unconditionally under the directions of Sonia and Rahul. He said that without Sonia and Rahul there is no Congress party in the country. He said that no one could think that they are a hero in the party and the party runs on the principles of patriotism and unity. Good government would be possible only with the Congress, he added.
He said that his father was Jan Sangh activist and his mother was a Congress worker. He has mentioned all about him in the biodata including the police cases against him. He said that he has the guts to face the BJP and the Congress. As he worked in various parties, he knew their strengths and weaknesses.
