Leaders of several political parties have recalled the services rendered by former Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy to the country and the State on Friday and paid rich tributes to him.
Hyderabad: Leaders of several political parties have recalled the services rendered by former Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy to the country and the State on Friday and paid rich tributes to him.
A meeting was organised at Indira Priyadarshini auditorium in the city in memory of Jaipal Reddy, who passed away recently. Srikant Jena, former union minister, took part as chief guest in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, he lauded services rendered by Jaipal Reddy. "Reddy was the best parliamentarian from South India. He brought laurels to various positions he held during his long political career," the former union minister said.
Speakers also recalled key role played by late Reddy in the formation of Telangana State. Leader of the Congress in Assembly Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, former LoP in Assembly K Jana Reddy, former minister and TRS leader Nayini Narasimha Reddy, Professor K Nageshwar and others also spoke.
