Villagers staging sit-in protest
Nizamabad: Outraged over the Tahsildar's negligence in issuing pattadar passbooks, the people of Jallapalli village, Kotagiri mandal, Nizamabad district, had detained Villager Revenue Officer (VRO) Kishtareddy at Gram Panchayat Office here on Monday. Later they staged a sit-on protest in front of the panchayat office and stated that they will not leave the VRO till passbooks are issued.
