The BJP and JAC leaders carried out a rally in support to the TSRTC employees from RTC Kalyana Mandapam to Bus Bhavan. However, the police intervened them and took them into custody during which Laxman got injured.
He was shifted to NIMS for treatment and then to Narayanaguda police station. On learning the issue, BJP working president JP Nadda spoke to Laxman over the phone and consoled him.
