Kaleshwaram project : It's fulfilment of people's aspirations
Former Irrigation Minister and MLA T Harish Rao on Thursday said that the completion of Kaleshwaram project was the result of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s relentless efforts, struggle of people of Telangana and sacrifices of the martyrs.
Hyderabad: Former Irrigation Minister and MLA T Harish Rao on Thursday said that the completion of Kaleshwaram project was the result of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's relentless efforts, struggle of people of Telangana and sacrifices of the martyrs.
Sharing his happiness over the inauguration of the project, Harish Rao said that this was the strong step forward in getting fulfilled the aspirations of Telangana people, which wanted Godavari and Krishna rivers to reach all areas of the State.
"This is the result of struggle of people of Telangana, sacrifices of martyrs and relentless efforts of Chief Minister KCR," said Harish Rao.
Rao said that the rulers in undivided Andhra Pradesh deliberately designed projects at places where there was no availability of water with an intention of creating conflicts.
Chief Minister KCR turned into an engineer, worked day and night and re-designed the project.
"Chief Minister solved the issues with Maharashtra government in a friendly manner and paved way for smooth construction of project works.
I thank Chief Minister KCR garu for completing the project in a record time by continued supervision, said Harish Rao.
