Kamareddy: Police rescue 23 farmers stranded in stream
Farmers, who got stranded on the other side of the overflowing Bheemeswaram Vagu on the outskirts of Santhaipeta on Thursday
Kamareddy: Police and revenue officials had rescued 25 farmers who were caught up in a overflowing stream in Kamareddy district.
On Thursday, farmers have crossed Bheemeswaram Vagu on the outskirts of Santhaipet, Tadwai mandal on agricultural works and they were stranded on the other side of the stream, which is overflowing.
Revenue and police officials got the information and deployed rescue team immediately. The officials and rescue team waited till the water flow is dropped and brought the farmers to other side on Friday morning.
