Hyderabad: Nallapureddy Suharika, daughter-in-law of Andhra Pradesh BJP State unit president Kanna Lakshminarayana, died under suspicious circumstances on Thursday.

According to Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar, on Suharika went to Meenakshi Bamboos under Madhapur police station limits to meet her friend and she reportedly collapsed at her friend's residence.

She was immediately shifted to AIG hospital in Gachibowli where she was declared dead on arrival, he said Ravinder, Inspector of Raidurgam police station said Suharika went to her friend's residence at Meenakshi Bamboos and collapsed at around 11.30 am, after which she was shifted to AIG hospital, but she was declared dead on arrival. The hospital authorities informed the police about the death.

The police, however, started process of questioning Suharika's family members. It was revealed that she had danced for while at her friend's residence and collapsed.

A case of death under suspicious circumstances was registered. Suharika was married to Kanna Lakshminarayana's younger son Phaneendra.
