Karimnagar: The reforms introduced by the Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi gained faith among the people. Hence, they voted BJP to power for the second consecutive time in the recently held Lok Sabha elections, said BJP district president Basa Satyanarayana Rao.
He along with the party local leaders distributed sweets to the public at Telangana Chowk here on Friday, celebrating the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister for the second time and State BJP senior leader and Secunderabad MP Kishan Reddy as Central Minister for the first time.
Later speaking on the occasion, B Satyanarayana Rao said Modi is leading the country towards economic development by taking bold steps in the form of reforms like demonetisation, introducing GST. Various problems that have been persisting in India and are troubling the people of India such as Kashmir issue, naxalism, Ayodhya Rama mandir and terrorism from the past 75 years will be solved under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the coming five years, he assured.
Satyanarayana said that Modi is trying to strengthen the nation economically to place it as one of the strong nations in the world. The BJP government under the leadership of Modi will give good governance so that all the people can live in peace and harmony.
He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allocating a berth to Secunderabad MP Kishan Reddy in his cabinet and appointing him as the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs.
BJP leaders K Murali Krishna, D Srinivas, B Praveen Kumar, R Vijaya, G Swapna, Hari Kumar Goud, Prakash, K Lokesh, R Prasad, G Ramesh, Ramana Reddy, Anitha, Chaitanya, Anup, Ravi, Srinivas, Kiran, Ramana, Sai and Thirupathi were present along with others.
