District MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar urged every citizen to cooperate with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in keeping the surroundings clean and green.
Karimnagar: District MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar urged every citizen to cooperate with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in keeping the surroundings clean and green. He unveiled eco-friendly carry bags, created by Nageshwara Rao Charitable Trust, here on Friday. These bags were distributed at Tower Circle and Court Area in Karimnagar.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Kumar said the use of plastic is dangerous to human survival and it is everyone's responsibility to save the earth from plastic hazards. He also told the people to stop going for open defecation to build a better society. He appreciated Vellam Naveen of Vijayawada for distributing eco-friendly bags here in Karimnagar.
V Naveen said that they have been distributing eco-friendly bags to the people of both Telugu States to prevent them from using plastic items and urged the people not to use plastic items.
The symbol of his charitable trust was printed on one side of the bag and Naveen's father's memorabilia and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's portraits were painted on the other side of the bag. He said that their aim is to distribute bags to 20,000 people in Karimnagar and the bags will be distributed in Rayalaseema, Costa Andhra and other districts of Telangana from Saturday.
