Karimnagar: By giving more preference to the issues that were received through Dial Your Collector programme, the officials of various departments must solve them as early as possible, ordered District Collector K Shashanka. Along with the officials of various departments, he participated in the Dial Your Collector programme held from the Collectorate conference hall here on Monday.

Ramulu, a resident of Durshed village, informed the Collector that the villagers are facing a lot of problems due to lack of proper roads to their village and urged to lay CC road to their village.

Sadashiva Reddy, resident of Ramadagu mandal, said that he had invested money in Haritha Haram and did not receive the money yet. Ravinder of Perukupalli village called the Collector and informed him that his parents are not getting PDS rice. Sumanth, resident of Teegala Guttapalli told the Collector that they are facing problems without proper drainage system in their colony.

The Collector assured all the petitioners that the officials of concerned departments

will pursue their issues and will try to solve them as early as

possible.

A total of 18 complaints were received during the programme. Out of which, three complaints each were received by District Panchayat Office, RDO of Huzurabad and Karimnagar and Municipal Corporation, two by district rural development officer, one each by Assistant labour office, Tahsildars of Yellanthakunta and Keshavapatnam and Lead Bank Manager.

Speaking on the occasion, Collector K Shashanka said that people, who cannot come to the district headquarters, will inform their problems through phone during this programme, with a hope that their problems will be solved. He told the officials to solve these problems immediately within a week and must inform them through a written letter.

Additional Collector Shyam Prasad Lal, DRO Venkat Madhav Rao, agriculture officer Sridhar, forest officer Srinivas Reddy, DD horticulture Srinivas, DD fisheries department Khader Ahmed, district industries manager Naveen Kumar, handloom & jute industries officer Sampath, Mepma Officer Ravinder, DEO Janardhan, treasury officer Srinivas, BC welfare officer Madhusudhan and tribal welfare officer Gangaram were present along with others.
