The CITU president criticised the government for not taking steps to resolve the RTC issues. How can KCR take action against RTC agitation when he himself led Telangana agitation, asked Padmanabhan. "KCR was union minister... He should know there is no word like self dismiss in Constitution. We are not in Nizam's rule. It's the right of the workers to take up strike," said Padmanabhan. He thanked the political parties for their support to RTC employees.
RTC JAC convener E Ashwadhama Reddy said they would continue their strike. Government should call workers for talks. JAC co-convener alleged that CM KCR was trying to destroy the corporation. He asked the unemployed youth not to go for temporary appointments.
