It might be noted that one year ago on September 11, a tragic accident took place at Kondagattu in which as many as 64 people died. In view of that, BJP Women wing leaders staged a dharna with placards here on Wednesday and demanded the government justice to be done to the families of accident victims.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP leader B Anitha said the government and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao do not have any mercy towards the family members of Kondagattu accident victims.

The CM hadn't even visited to console them till date and did not sanctioned compensations to the victims that was announced.

The government promised government job to the son of Godise Sarojana, who lost her life in the accident, but did not allotted any job until today. Gore Lachhavva did not get pension. Golconda Sumalatha, who was pregnant at that time, died in the accident, but no compensation was given to her family members. In the same way, many people are still suffering losing their family members and are seeking a helping hand from the government, but which is not in a mood to help those victims, she alleged.

Sarojana demanded the Chief Minister to fulfill the promises he made to the victims of Kondagattu mishap and release compensation immediately.

Otherwise, she warned of intensifying their agitation in support of Kondagattu accident victims and would teach the government a fitting lesson, she warned.

BJP Women wing leaders Dulam Radhika, Lakshmi, Vijaya, Radha, Yellamma, Jyothi and Nirmala were present along with others.
