Kodela's body kept for public view at NTR Trust Bhavan
A pall of gloom descended over TDP head office, NTR Trust Bhavan, when the body of former Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao was brought to the premises for public view.
Hyderabad: A pall of gloom descended over TDP head office, NTR Trust Bhavan, when the body of former Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao was brought to the premises for public view.
Stream of leaders thronged the office and were paying their tributes to the departed Telugu Desam leader. Kodela's daughter Vijayalakshmi was seen inconsolable at the body and the close relatives took her away from the place.
TDP President and former AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu along with his party senior leader rushed to Hyderabad. The body will be shifted to Kodela's native place on Tuesday morning for last rites.
Party's Telangana unit President L Ramana and senior leader R Chandrashekar Rao were overseeing all arrangements at NTR Trust Bhavan.
TPCC Working President A Revanth Reddy, CPI State Secretary Ch Venkat Reddy, CPI national council member K Narayana were among the others visited and paid homage to the senior leader.
Required security forces were already deployed at NTR Trust Bhavan to monitor law and order situation and control the flood of people to the office.
