Kothagudem: Superintendent of Police, Sunil Dutt laid the foundation stone for two new police station buildings in Kothagudem on Thursday.

He performed the bhumi pooja for Laxmidevipally and Sujatha Nagar police stations. Speaking on the occasion, he said that nine new police stations will be constructed in Kothagudem district.

The State government has approved the construction of nine police stations at different places in the district. The police stations will be constructed by the Telangana State Police Housing Corporation Limited (TSPHCL), he informed.

Armed Reserve Police Additional SP, B Krishnaiah, Police Officers Association president Srinivas Rao, Inspectors Guru Swamy, Raju, Satyanarayana, Nagaraju, Balaji, TSPHCL Assistant Engineer K Damarukeswar Rao, tahsildars Bhadrakali and Nagaraju were also present.
