District Collector Dr MV Reddy ordered the officials to take all precautionary measures since the district is more flood-effected
Kothagudem: District Collector Dr MV Reddy ordered the officials to take all precautionary measures since the district is more flood-effected.
Addressing the mandal officers of the district through a video conference here on Tuesday, he said that every officer should visit flood-affected areas and give measures to the people.
The health department officials were told to keep medicines stocks at their stores to distribute to the people during flood time and revenue officers were told to keep stock buffers in the mandal.
Collector told the officers to conduct awareness programmes on seasonal diseases during rainy season and to set up a control room at Sub-Collector office. Later, he reviewed the development works goind on in flooded areas.
The Collector also discussed locusts' issue with agricultural officer and directed him to take all measures on this issue and to set up a control room in every mandal.
Joint Collector K Venkateswaralu and other district level officers attended the meeting.
