KU Inter-Collegiate Athletics Championships 2019-20 concludes in Warangal
The two-day Kakatiya University (KU) Inter-Collegiate Athletics Championships 2019-20 organised by Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW) concluded here on Tuesday.

Speaking at the valedictory of the sports meet, Sports Board, KU, Secretary Prof B Suresh Lal greeted the KITS students who have won the overall championship. He told the participants not to lose their heart even though they had failed to put up a good performance.
According to the Dean administration and head department of physical education, KITS Warangal Prof P Ramesh Reddy, the best athlete in men category is Ch Naveen Kumar, SR&BGNR, Khammam and in women category P Divya Pavani, TTWRDC, Kothagudem; Team championship men won by SR&BGNR, Khammam; Team championship women won by TTWRDC, Kothagudem.
KITS Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy who congratulated the teams said that they have been giving utmost prominence to physical education. "Since 1980, we have been training the students in field of games and sports by providing facilities like indoor stadium, sophisticated gyms, TT court, cricket playground, etc.," Ashoka Reddy said. Later, Prof Suresh Lal distributed certificates and trophies to the winners. It may be recalled here that the sports meet was inaugurated by KU Registrar Prof K Purushotham on Monday.
