Lord Balaji temple inaugurated
A team of Ritwiks and Vedic scholars performed rituals as per the tenets of Vaikhanasa Agama Shastras
Jubilee Hills (NSS): Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple was inaugurated in Jubilee Hills here on Wednesday amidst grand religious fervour after performing the Maha Kumbhabhishekam in Jubilee Hills.
The ceremony was performed on the auspicious occasion of Meena Lagnam between 6 am and 7.30 am.
A team of Ritwiks and Vedic scholars performed rituals as per the tenets of Vaikhanasa Agama Shastras.
Speaking on the occasion, TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal said that the temple was opened after performing all the necessary religious rituals.
The Ankurarpanam was done on March 8, he added.
Singhal also complimented the engineering, electrical, garden, SVBC for the live coverage of the entire event.
Earlier, Tirupati JEO B Lakshmikantham, said the canopy greenery system would be developed along with the construction of archaka quarters, prakaram and other developments.
He said, some arjitha sevas would also be introduced soon in the temple," he added.
JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju, CVSO Gopinath Jatti, TTD Board Members Rudraraju Padmaraju, P Ramesh Babu, Raghavendra Rao, LAC President Ashok Reddy, LAC Members P Ramakrishna, Balaraju Goud, D Krishnamohan, Trinath Babu, Rami Reddy, Superintending Engineer Ramulu, Executive Engineer Narasimha Murthy, Dy Executive Officer P Viswanadham, OSD Seshadri, Bokkasam in-charge Gururaja Rao and others were also present.
