Make Nirmal anaemic-free: District Medical and Health Officer Vasanth Rao
District Medical and Health Officer (DM&HO) Vasanth Rao instructed the officials to make the Nirmal district anaemic-free, while addressing a review meeting of joint coordination committee with the officials of ICDS and education department at DM&HO office in Nirmal on Wednesday.

The DM&HO told them to make a note of students of government schools and Anganwadi centres at field level, who are absent and to have a first hand knowledge of their health condition to prepare an action plan. He directed mandal education officers, ICDS supervisors and RBSK medical officers should work in coordination to deliver better services.
District Educational Officer Pranitha, DSO Rajagopal, Sectoral Officer Padma, Mass Media officer Satyanarayana and others were present at the meeting.
