Man injures friend over bet on Ludo game in Khammam
A man was seriously injured and is battling for life after being attacked with a beer bottle by his friend in Bonakal of Khammam district.
A man was seriously injured and is battling for life after being attacked with a beer bottle by his friend in Bonakal of Khammam district.
Vattikonda Nageshwar Rao and Kola Gopi were playing Ludo game at the Bonakal railway station on Monday night. The two played a game over Rs 50 in which Nageshwar Rao won and Gopi paid the money. The duo decided to play another game on Rs 500. Meanwhile, Nageshwar exuded confidence in winning the game which fumed Gopi.
He attacked Rao with a broken beer bottle and the latter attacked Gopi. The two fell on the ground with injuries and alerted the locals who informed the police. The families of the two shifted them to hospital.
Rao was admitted into the government hospital in Khammam and his condition said to be critical. Based on the complaint registered by Rao's wife, the police registered an attempt to murder case against Gopi. An investigation is underway.
