Medak: Superintendent of Police (SP) Chandana Deepti said on Monday that every citizen should take responsibility of protecting the environment. On the occasion of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's birthday, a Haritha Haram programme was organised at various places, including police stations and parade grounds in Medak district.
Chandana Deepti, along with Additional SP D Naga Raju and other police staff, took part in the programme and they all planted saplings. Raju called upon everyone in district to plant saplings and protect them well, thereby contributing to realisation of Haritha Telangana.
