Chivemla (Suryapet): Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy felt that the responsibility of public representatives increases once they take the oath of the office. On Thursday, the Minister attended as chief guest to oath-taking ceremony of MPP and vice-MPP at MPDO office in Chivemla of the district. He advised the new governing body to provide the best ruling as per people's aspirations. He suggested them get good name by rendering valuable services to people during their tenure
"Local bodies should play a key role in the development of villages in all aspects," he said. On the day, newly-elected MPP Darvath Nirmala, vice-MPP Julakanti Jeevan Reddy, co-option member Shaik Dastagiri, MPTCs V Vasudeva Rao, G Mantri, K Bandlaiah, N Uma, D Bacchamma, N Renuka, D Sushila and M Pravathamma took oath in the presence of the Minister.
Later, the new governing body felicitated the Minister. In this programme, Election Returning Officer Venkat Reddy, MPDO K Vanaja, Zilla Parishad vice-chairman Venkatanarayana Goud and others took part.
