MRO functions, but not from his office!

Sometimes, the acts of officials land people in utter chaos, instead of preventing the same. Kohir: Sometimes, the acts of officials land people in utter chaos, instead of preventing the same. An official of a key department has been discharging his duties for the place of his choice, avoiding the allotted government building. As a result, people who need official assistance are at their wits' end as to where they should go.
The MRO of Khir mandal in Sangareddy district is, of course, attending to his duties, but not from his office. He is working from a management college at Kaveli, which is 7 km from the government office. People who visit the MRO office are being directed to visit Kaveli. Some people are unable to understand the situation while others often fail to trace the address.
Narsimhulu, a farmer who visited the office regarding a land issue, was directed to Kaveli Cross Roads. "Only Deputy MRO is here. All VROs are working from another place. MRO is functioning from a hotel management college at Kaveli. Gates are closed and they are not allowing us inside.
I cannot make rounds as my father is 75-year- old," he lamented. When The Hans India contacted the MRO, Saidulu, he said he left the government office due to power issues. He refused to elaborate further. Meanwhile, woes of farmers and others are continuing.
On one hand, the Collector is holding 'Bhuvani' programme to settle land issues on the spot and also quickly. But, some officials are throwing all the instructions to the wind, thereby defeating the spirit of the initiative. Farmers and locals are appealing to higher authorities to spare them the trouble of visiting two premises.
