Khammam: On the occasion of Ugadi festival, former Minister and Congress candidate from Khammam Lok Sabha constituency Renuka Chowdhury on Saturday performed special pooja at Venkateswara Swamy temple in Jamalapuram of Khammam district. The temple priests welcomed her with Purna Kumbham.
Later, she participated in a road show and public meeting in Madhira constituency. Speaking at the road show, she said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao are the two faces of the same coin.
Congress is the strongest party in Khammam district and no one can beat its candidates us in the coming election, she added.
At the public meeting, Renuka Chowdary said that the people can notice the development programmes done by the Congress from Palair to Parnashala.
She urged the cadre of both the Congress and TDP parties to work together for their victory in Khammam parliamentary constituency.
During the road show, Renuka Chowdhury drove the open top jeep and campaigned like the strong women she is.
