Olympic Day Run to be held today in Karimnagar
District Olympic Association will be organising Olympic Day Run from Ambedkar Stadium here at 6 am on Thursday (June 20).
Karimnagar: District Olympic Association will be organising Olympic Day Run from Ambedkar Stadium here at 6 am on Thursday (June 20).
In a statement released here on Wednesday, Olympic Association district president and general secretary Nadepalli Mahipal and Gasireddy Janardhan Reddy respectively informed that as per the orders issued by the State Olympic Association, the district unit will organise 'Olympic Day Run' at 6 am from Ambedkar stadium on Thursday.
Health Minister Eatala Rajendar, Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar, Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar, City Mayor S Ravinder Singh, MLAs, MLCs and ZP chairpersons will participate in the programme.
N Mahipal and G Janardhan Reddy urged sports lovers, students and sports persons present across the district to participate in the run in large numbers and make it a grand success.
