Kothagudem: Special arrangements are being made for counting of votes of the Parishad polls, informed Joint Collector K Venkateswarlu.
Speaking at an awareness programme conducted for the Mandal Parishad Development Officers, Returning Officers, Assistant Returning Officers and trainers at Kothagudem Club, the Joint Collector said the arrangements would be completed as soon as possible and counting would be taken up on May 26 from 6 am.
Speaking further, he said every officer should open the ballot boxes in the presence of party agents in the counting hall.
Kothagudem Revenue Divisional Officer Swarna Latha, Deputy CEO Purushotham, master trainer Narasimha Kumar, MPDOs, ROs and AROs attended the meeting.
