Patancheru: Jinnaram Mandal president Dummagoni Ravinder Goud on Wednesday launched a ten-day 'padayatra', with 40 Ayyappa devotees , to Vijayawada Kanakadurga temple to seek the deity blessings for the well being of the people.
Goud had taken a vow to undertake the yatra if he emerged victorious in the MPP elections. He left for Vijayawada along with MPTC Members, Congress party's Sarpanch, besides his followers.
Medak Congress party Parliament constituency in-charge Gali Anil Kumar, district women's wing president Kata Sudharani, mandal Congress president Srikanth Thadi were present at the launch of padayatra.
