Director of Health, Medical and Family Welfare, Dr Yogita Rana, here on Friday urged the doctors to pay more attention on providing medical aid to pregnant women and children.
Yadadri-Bhongir: Director of Health, Medical and Family Welfare, Dr Yogita Rana, here on Friday urged the doctors to pay more attention on providing medical aid to pregnant women and children.
The Director was inspecting the Government Area Hospital in Bhongir. She directed the officials to register the name of the Asha workers accompanying the pregnant woman to the hospital. She also urged the officials to ensure that the Asha workers guide the pregnant women during medical examination.
She enquired about distribution of KCR Kits to the women. She also examined the list of pregnant women registered with the hospital. She advised the doctors to ensure that more normal deliveries take place. She interacted with patients and enquired about the facilities and the treatment being provided to them.
District collector Anitha Ramachandran, District Medical Officer Dr Sambasiva Rao, hospital officials, doctors and others participated in the progamme.
