POs & APOs' role vital for peaceful conduct of polls
District Collector Masrat Khanam Aisha said that POs and APOs would play a key role in conducting Lok Sabha elections peacefully. They have been made aware of the workings of EVMs and VVPATs.

She attended the second phase training programme at government junior college here on Sunday.
Masrat Khanam asked officials concerned should understand the checklist on polling day.
The Collector advised the staff to work efficiently and clear their doubts by asking master trainers. She directed the poll staff to use the postal ballot.
Chevella Lok Sabha elections observer AK Tiwari inspected the training programme. He advised sectoral officers and DMLTs to create awareness among poll staff under their circle on EVMs and VVPATs. Tiwari directed sectoral officers to arrange all facilities at polling centres and ensure implementation of model code of conduct at the centres.
Joint Collector Aruna Kumari, Tahsildar Chinnappala Naidu, sectoral officers, training classes observer, district officials, and others were present.
