The PRTU (Progressive Teachers Union) on Friday extended their support to the RTC workers, who were on strike against the state government’s indifference in resolving their long-pending issues including salary hike and merger of the corporation with the government.
Warangal: The PRTU (Progressive Teachers Union) on Friday extended their support to the RTC workers, who were on strike against the state government's indifference in resolving their long-pending issues including salary hike and merger of the corporation with the government.
The PRTU leaders alleged that the government is not showing concern towards the plights of the RTC workers and trying to suppress their struggle by announcing the agitating workers are deemed self-dismissal from the services. Telangana Working Journalists Union also came in support of the RTC workers and took out a big rally in Hanamkonda. The union leaders said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is behaving like a dictator.
