Karimnagar: TSCAB and KDCCB Chairman Konduri Ravinder Rao said co-operative banks will benefit in lowering the NPA. The organisers of Karimnagar Co-operative Bank on Wednesday described the bank's management practices to the officials and members of the Co-operative Governing Council from Chhattisgarh.

Konduri Ravinder recalled that Karimnagar Co-operative Bank was at a loss of Rs 70 crore ten years ago and now the KDCCB is running with a profit of Rs 17 crores. Hundred per cent debts were recovered, he added.

The Chairman said the bank bagged national-level award twice as the country's greatest management bank. 127 primary agricultural societies have been computerised and 28 bank branches have been expanded to 62.

The Chhattisgarh team was taken to Mulkanoor and Dudhinpalli cooperative societies on a field visit.

NABARD AGM P Anant, DC O Manoj Kumar, Bank CEO S Satyanarayana Rao and Sridhar participated in the event.
