Rice mill owners told to unload grains immediately: Nirmal Joint Collector A Bhaskar Rao
Joint Collector A Bhaskar Rao told the rice mill owners to immediately unload the grains that come to the rice mill at a meeting with civil supplies enforcement officers and rice mill owners at the Collectorate in Nirmal on Wednesday.

He also told the rice mill owners to purchase quality grains at the purchasing centres and to move the grains to godowns immediately and unload without delay. They were also instructed to speed up the exporting process to warehouses.
The JC said that purchasing started at 131 procurement centres against the 137 centres and 32,884 metric tonnes of grains has been purchased from 6,664 farmers at a cost of Rs 15.88 crores till date. District Civil Supplies Officer Kiran Kumar, Manager Srikala, Deputy Tahsildar Kavitha, rice mill owners and others were present at the meeting.
