Rich tributes paid to Jaipal Reddy in Jammikunta

Jammikunta: Leaders of Jammikunta Congress Committee paid rich tributes to former Union Minister and senior leader late Jaipal Reddy by garlanding his photo in Jammikunta on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Jammikunta town Congress president Moluguri Sadaiah said that Jaipal Reddy was interested in politics right from the early stages of his age and entered into the field during his student life. At very young age, he became MLA. Reddy rendered his services to the people as a four-time MLA, two-time Rajya Sabha member, five times as Member of Parliament and as Union Minister.

Jaipal Reddy played a key role in the formation of separate Telangana State. As a disciple of Jawahar Lal Nehru, he left his mark in the Indian and State politics. His demise is a great lose to the Congress party and to the Telangana State, M Sadaiah observed.

Jammikunta ZPTC Veeresha Lingam, former municipal union president Rama Swamy, Congress leaders G Sarangapani, Potireddy, Mallaiah, Mulugu Dilip, Saini Ravinder, Srinivas Reddy, MPTC Sanjeev Reddy, Sammi Reddy, Satish and Sanju were present along with others.
