The leaders of opposition parties on Tuesday conducted a signature campaign in support of RTC strike here in Kothagudem. The Communist Party of India, CPM, New Democracy, Telugu Desam and Jana Sena party leaders participated in the programme held at the bus stand complex.

Speaking on the occasion, the leaders opposed the privatisation of the transport corporation and demanded the State government to immediately solve the issues of striking employees and restore the transport services for everyone's good. Leaders of the various opposition parties M Venkateswarlu, J Krishna, Shabbir Pasha, A Kanakaiah, Madhu, Kameswara Rao and others have participated in the programme.
