Hyderabad: Temporary drivers and conductors staged dharna in front of Maheshwaram depot not allowing buses to come out alleging that the depot manager was harassing them and not giving full remuneration.

The depot manager Ravinder has reportedly told the temporary drivers and conductors that everyday diesel worth of Rs 2 Lakh was being used and income was not even Rs 50000.

The temporary workers said they will not be able to work if the depot manager harasses them like this.

The temporary workers alleged that they were promised to pay Rs 1750 but the officials were giving just Rs 900 stating there was no income.

This made the RDO to intervene and he reprimanded the DM.

"Who are you to ask for money when the chief minister has instructed to run buses even if no income is generated. I will have to suspend you," is what the RDO said to the DM.
