Hyderabad: RTC workers took up protests at the residences of Ministers and TRS MLAs and gave representations urging them to take their demands to the government.

The RTC workers are on strike for the last 19 days. The striking workers met Panchayat Raj Minister E Dayakar Rao at his residence in Warangal.

Later, they also met D Vinay Bhaskar and MP Banda Prakash Mudiraj and gave representations and requested them to take their issues to the chief minister.

The workers also staged dharna in front of the residence of Health Minister E Rajender.

The RTC workers said that Dayakar Rao responded positively to their request and asked the workers to climb down a step as the government too had climbed down by forming a committee.

It will be good if you also climb down a step and get your issues resolved," is what Dayakar Rao told the workers. The worker explained to the leaders that if merger is done with government every village will have bus connectivity and employees will get job security.

The RTC workers took out a huge rally in Siddipet with the support political parties like BJP, CPI, Telangana Jana Samithi and others.
