Shadnagar: Shadnagar MLA Anjaiah Yadav laid the foundation stone for the underground drainage works in Shadnagar on Wednesday.
The underground drainage works would be carried out in 6, 7, and the 10th wards in Shadnagar municipality. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that the State government has been taking necessary measures to develop the colonies in the Shadnagar municipality limits. Construction of underground drainage systems, development of CC roads and other activities have been going on in the colonies.
"The TRS government is implementing several schemes for the betterment of public and the public should utilise these schemes," he added.
Shadnagar Municipal Corporation chairman Narender, vice-chairman MS Natarajan, councillors P Latha Sri, Rajeswar, Shravani, Pratap Reddy and local leaders along with officials participated in the programme.
