Strive for Golden Telangana: ZP Chairperson
The Zilla Parishad chairperson Manjusri Reddy said, “We can never forget the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom.” She unfurled the National Flag at police Parade Grounds, here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, after receiving guard of honour, she said that the separate statehood for Telangana was achieved in a peaceful path and now it is time to turn the state to Bangaru Telangana. She elaborated the welfare measures taken up by the state government.
She appreciated the District Collector Hanumantha Rao for working hard for the development of the district. She felicitated the families of freedom fighters and gave away certificates of appreciation to the employees of different departments.
The cultural show by the students enthralled the visitors. Joint Collector Nikhila, DIG Chandrasekhar Reddy, additional SP Sridhar Reddy, CI Venkatesham, Shivakumar, TRS leader Narahari Reddy, ZPTCs and MPTCs were present.
