Karimnagar: Both Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan had been celebrated in Blue Bells High School in Karimnagar on Thursday. School Correspondent Janga Sunitha Manohar Reddy and children had participated in Prabhathabheri and raised slogans like 'Bharth Mata ki jai'.

As per the innovative programme organised by Correspondent Janga Sunitha Manohar Reddy, 10th class students tied rakhis to the residents of Ganesh Nagar and Hanuman Nagar.

After hoisting the flag, Sunitha Manohar Reddy, chief guests RSS Devender, Shikshak Vadlakonda Satish and Kamarapu Prasad explained about the importance of Independence and about Raksha Bandhan festival to the students. They also explained how to save plants, water conservation and not to use plastic.
